I’m a 21-year-old Venezuelan-American journalist (shoutout class of 2021). I recently finished working with LA-based Crooked Media as their summer production intern for their most listened to podcasts Pod Save the World and Pod Save America -- where I wrote guest briefs, show topics, interview questions, and production notes. I held the position of Programming Director for WECB.fm for three years, while working as an On-Air DJ for three and Music Staff for one. I aspire to work within music, entertainment, and culture-based projects.

I’m a Venezuelan-American creative with experience in program management, administrative assistance, DEI, marketing, and community organizing. My main mission is providing an uplifting, proactive, and genuine impact in any space I’m in.

During my time at Paramount, specifically MTV, I gained experience with administrative tasks such as ensuring seamless communication between departments, managing budgets, research, and event support for executives and their high-profile projects, including award shows like the VMAs and the MATVAs - which went up to 23% in viewership after the year prior. Prior to this, I assisted Crooked Media on their top podcasts Pod Save The World and Pod Save America for quality assurance, topic research, and writing scripts.

My commitment to diversity and inclusion is evident in leadership roles, including as a Journalism Chair Assistant at Emerson College, where I facilitated anti-bias training sessions and collaborated with department chairs to drive meaningful change. For this work, I was awarded the prestigious "Catalyst For Change" award by the School of Communication for my dedication to promoting inclusivity and equity.

In addition to professional achievements, I actively involved myself in community and event organizing — leveraging my creativity and passion to create impactful experiences. I host and market Poetry Peace in Los Angeles which focuses on providing a safe space for about 100 BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and allies. My dedication towards helping community also led me to speak at Los Angeles Public Health’s Spring into Love event for youth.

On my own time, you can find me writing articles such as these, planning more community events, taking photos, volunteering for organizations such as We Explore Earth or WalkGoodLA, or meeting folks. Let’s connect!
